The Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation proudly announces the 2022 College Pledge Scholarship Program, which was established to remove financial barriers to student success and ensure that Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD) students transition into pursuing a postsecondary degree or credential.

Under the program, fifteen (15) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to promising LUSD seniors admitted to 4-year college or university; and ten (10) $500 for promising LUSD seniors entering community college/an accredited trade school in the fall of 2022 to assist with costs in attending the college or university of their choice.

Program Guidelines & Priorities

- Seeking graduating LUSD high school seniors who demonstrate scholastic achievement and leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other volunteer activities.

- Applicants must plan to attend a two (2)-year community college/an accredited trade school or four (4)-year college or university in the fall of 2022.

- Scholarship funds will be paid during the month of June 2022directly to the student. The scholarship funds will be issued to the student upon a copy of the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) or another form of enrollment confirmation.

- Applications must be submitted at https://lynscholar.edtech-solutions.org no later than midnight on May 13, 2022. A completed application package should be submitted through the application portal.  Late applications will not be accepted.        

Application Process                                                        

The applications will be reviewed and recipients selected by the Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation Scholarship Committee.  Scholarship recipients should expect to be recognized at the LUSD school board meeting on June 23, 2022 and submit a thank you letter and picture as part of the awarding process.
