Lynwood Run 5K/10K Draws 852 Participants and Raises Nearly $61,000 for Student Scholarships

The 5th Annual Lynwood Run 5K/10K was a tremendous success, bringing together the Lynwood community for a morning focused on wellness, unity, and educational opportunity. Held on May 9, 2026, the event welcomed 852 registered runners and walkers and raised nearly $61,000 to support college scholarships for Lynwood Unified School District students.

From the starting line at Lynwood City Hall to the finish line celebration, participants of all ages came together to celebrate community pride and healthy living. The event featured a USATF-certified course, community expo, vendors, sponsors, and special Mother’s Day weekend race packages.

The Lynwood Run continues to grow each year through the partnership of the Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation, Lynwood Unified School District, the City of Lynwood, and Aztlan Athletics.
